Outstanding ACT and SAT scores have resulted in many offers of college scholarships. Recent graduating classes have averaged over $10,000 per student in college scholarships.
ETCS administers the Stanford Achievement Test to grades Kindergarten 5 through 12th grade. Scores are consistently above both grade level and the national average.
Longview Christian School
LCS has scored 1.5 grade levels or more above the national average for the past 5 years. Test results from 2005-2006 showed LCS at 1.5 grade levels above the national average.
Oak Forest Montessori School
Oak Forest Montessori School uses the Educational Records Bureau at the end of the 3rd grade year.
St. Mary's Catholic School
St. Mary's uses a nationally normed assessment, the Stanford 10, to evaluate each student's achievement. Students consistently score in the above average stanines. The Standards of Intelligence (SOI) is used for evaluation of learning styles and modalities. The release TAKS and TEKS based assessments are used to evaluate and strengthen curriculum.
