7 (a) Loan Guaranty
 
Qualifications:

The eligibility requirements are designed to be as broad as possible in order that this lending program can accommodate the most diverse variety of small business financing needs. All businesses that are considered for financing under SBA’s 7(a) loan program must: meet SBA size standards, be for-profit, not already have the internal resources (business or personal) to provide the financing, and be able to demonstrate repayment. 504 Certified Development Company Loans
 
Qualifications:

Business net worth of $6 million or less AND Average net profit for two consecutive years not to exceed $2 million after taxes. AND  7(a) qualifications. Loans cannot be made to businesses engaged in speculation or investment in rental retail estate.

Texas Mezzanine Fund
 
Qualifications:

Must meet SBA size standards, show good character, management expertise, and commitment for a successful operation. A detailed business plan that shows reasonable assurance that the loan can/will be repaid.  Business location in low/moderate income census tract. Minority owned business.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $500,000

East Texas Rural Access Program Revolving Loan Fund
 
Qualifications:

Focused primarily on providing financial support to projects improving access to primary health care those eligible include: for profit and not-for-profit businesses including corporations, sole proprietorships, partnerships, 501 (C) 3 companies, and governmental entities. 
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $150,000

Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (Young Farmer Loan Program)
 
Qualifications:

Persons aged 18 - 39 years who wish to establish or enhance their farm or rance operation or establish an agricultura-related business.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $250,000

Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (Rural Municipal Finance Program)
 
Qualifications:

City and county governments; economic development corporations; hospital districts; rail districts; utility districts; special districts; agricultural districts; and private water and wastewater corporations seeking to improve or assist in the economic development of the rural area.  Entities may be seeking to purchase real estate, construct buildings and site improvements, purchase equipment, improve water and wastewater systems, and engage in municipal infrastructure projects.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $5,000,000

Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (Linked Deposit Program)
 
Qualifications:

Applicants interested in the production of an alternative crop; processing and marketing of agricultural crops or livestock; a business that is located in a U.S. Department of Agriculture or Presidential-declared disaster area; a project using water conservation techniques or purchasing water conservation equipment, or a business seeking to enhance or maintain rural economic development.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $250,000 for production of alternative crops; $250,000 for a project using water conservation equipment for agriculture purposes; $500,000 for processing and marketing loans


Texas Linked Deposit Program
 
Qualifications:

An eligible borrower must be a Historically Underutilized Business, child-care provider, non-profit corporation, and /or a small business that is located in an enterprise zone.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $250,000

SPECIAL PURPOSE LOANS
 
Low Doc 
 
Qualifications:

Applicant must use the loan to start or grow a business. An existing business must not employ more than 100 people and must have annual sales for the preceding three years not exceeding $5 million (includes business and affiliates). The business and its owners have good credit; and the business owners are of good character.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $150,000

Export Working Capital Loan
 
Qualifications:

Applicant must operate for profit; be engaged in, or propose to do business in, the United States or its possessions; have reasonable owner equity to invest; and, use alternative financial resources first including personal assets.  An applicant must be in business for a full year (not necessarily in exporting) at the time of application. SBA may waive this requirement if the applicant has sufficient export trade experience. Export management companies or export-trading companies my use this program; however, title must be taken in the goods being exported to be eligible.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $1,500,000

Pollution Control Loans 
 
Qualifications:

SBA Eligible Small Businesses for the planning, design, or installation of a pollution control facility.  This facility must prevent, reduce, abate or control any form of pollution, including recycling. Use of proceeds are for fixed-assets only.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $2,000,000

PROGRAMS FOR THE 7A LENDER
 
SBA Express

Must be for profit and meet SBA size standards; show good character, credit management, and ability to repay. Must be located in the U.S. or its territories or possessions.
 

Maximum Loan Amount:  $350,000
