Construction has begun on an approximately 3,800-square-foot office building that is the
beginning of an upscale office park development in north Longview.
The office building at the southeast corner of McCann Road and Technology Center will house
Attorney's Insurance Marketplace, which is owned by Murray Roberts, and an office for Roberts'
father, former Longview Mayor Earl Roberts, an attorney. Attorney's Insurance Marketplace
provides professional liability insurance for attorneys in Texas and other states.
RLM General Contractors, owned by Bob Metzler, will construct the building. Information from the
city shows the project is valued at $400,000.
Murray Roberts said there are 15 to 17 spaces left in the Lost Creek office park. Most will
probably be about an acre in size, although lots can be joined together. He said the goal is for
Lost Creek to have a "park-like atmosphere," with landscaping and parking confined mostly to the
back of the lots.
Roberts said they anticipate moving into the new building in the middle of January.
