Longview, Texas ranked in the American South's 10-Largest New and Expanded Manufacturing and Selected Non-Manufacturing Announcements in the 2007 Winter Quarter by the Southern Business & Development magazine.

Convergy's decision to locate a customer support center that will employ 550 people in Longview was the 8th largest project announced in the South according to the Southern Business & Development magazine. The article appeared in the Winter 2007 edition. Convergys plans to open their new facility in Longview within the next month.
