Existing primary employers are one of our community's most valuable assets.  Primary employers are those companies that manufacture a product or provide a service outside of our region thereby infusing new dollars into our local economy.  They contribute greatly to our tax base, employ people who live in the region, purchase goods and services from other businesses in the Longview region and are involved in and financially support various community-oriented programs.
