Spring Hill consistently receives School Match’s "What Parents Want" award; Spring Hill Junior High School has received the Just for the Kids "Academic Excellence Award" in Algebra and Math. Leaders CORE has won local, state, and national awards for their "Spring Hill Community Park" project. The Spring Hill High School Yearbook staff was honored at Columbia University in New York City with Silver Crown recognition, placing them among the top 5% of honored yearbooks in the country. The Panther Paw newspaper staff received a Gold Medalist rating by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. 2007 State 3A UIL Academic Team champions 2007; Junior High voted as one of Texas Monthly's Best School; Ashley Alm, Miss Gregg Co. 2007; 3A State Champion Girls Doubles Tennis Team 2007; High School Band achieved top honors 2007. Back-to-back National Coca-Cola Art Contest Winner 2005-2006; Established Education Foundation 2007 "No Child Left Behind" blue ribbon school, National Wind Band honors 2007.

Award winning Leaders CORE (a program designed to involve high school students with hands-on business experience), character education, leadership development, technology, long-distance learning, mentoring program, dual credit opportunities, available on-line course study, Texas Scholar Program, academic, athletic, band, and choir UIL participation. Students experience science, history, and fine arts through field trips to Dallas, Tyler, and Shreveport. Patriotism is taught at all grade levels, and Spring Hill intermediate and middle school students host a community-wide Veteran’s Day celebration. Advanced placement courses for HS include English, art, calculus, economics and government.
