East Texas Regional Airport is four miles south of Longview on Hwy 322. ETRA is easily accessible from most cities in East Texas including Kilgore, Gladewater, Henderson, Marshall, Gilmer, Carthage, and Nacogdoches. Owned and operated by Gregg County, the airport has been serving East Texas for over 50 years with the largest runway and most modern facilities for regional air service. Two daily flights on American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, to Dallas/Ft.
Two Class I railroads, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) and Union Pacific Railroad, serve Longview. BNSF operates two trains daily through Longview's facilities while Union Pacific maintains a daily schedule of 25 trains.
The Port of Shreveport/Bossier is located at the head of the Red River Waterway, with direct links to the Mississippi River System and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. More than $100 million has been invested in this multi-modal facility. Only 70 miles east of Longview, the Port is set up for shipping, receiving or storage.
