Longview Economic Development Corporation (LEDCO) is pleased to announce the confirmation of LEDCO Vice President Heather Malone to LeTourneau University’s R.G. Research and Development, Inc., (RGRD) board of directors.
RGRD is a Texas non-profit corporation established by the LETU Board of Trustees to support the mission and vision of LeTourneau University. The goal of RGRD is to explore and develop innovative opportunities in the education space as well as related goods and services that can benefit LeTourneau University. RGRD seeks to promote original ideas, offerings and products from LETU faculty, staff and students. This investment in areas like intellectual property commercialization and business formation or acquisition benefits all parts of the LeTourneau community as well as the world of business more broadly.
LEDCO has always valued its partnership with LETU and this new collaboration deepens ties between the two organizations, further accelerating innovation, supporting entrepreneurship and strengthening the bridge between education and industry.
