Committed to Assisting Our Businesses

Longview’s healthy and vibrant economy depends on the well-being of our existing businesses. When your business succeeds, our entire community benefits. We understand that businesses that stay competitive are more likely to remain in the community and expand.

65 - 85% of all new jobs are created by existing companies

Our long-term employers continue to invest and grow in our community, cultivating a strong business climate. These existing businesses are crucial in relaying information about Longview’s robust business climate to prospective companies.

Industry Retention and Expansion Program

LEDCO prioritizes our Industry Retention and Expansion Program with the goals of retaining primary jobs and tax revenues, fostering growth and expansion and improving the business-ready atmosphere of Longview. Each year, our team meets with an average of 130 primary employers to ensure that our companies grow and stay competitive. We value our primary employers as one of our community’s most valuable assets and work with you to help your company grow and prosper.
